Pepperidge Farm remembers

This is the memberberries shelf: software that is long dead, not especially relevant to today's ecosystem, and remembered by roughly no one — which is exactly why it gets a page. Everyone remembers DOS. Nobody remembers the stuff below unless they lived in it.

Different from The Mac Shelf, which holds things you could still argue about. Everything here is a closed casket.

In the ground

• Unsanity — Unsanity. The haxie empire. Your Mac used to have a personality because a company sold you one in 400KB.
• Virtual PC — Connectix Virtual PC, later Microsoft Virtual PC. An entire Pentium, faked convincingly, on a G4.
